Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina in the town of Old Fort. We offer a clean bathhouse, playground, fishing pond, hatchery supported river to fish and cool off in, store, mountain crafts, RV Full Hookups, tent camping and rental cabins. We are now offering 802.11g wireless internet access, only $5 for your stay. We have been serving the public for over 20 years under the same family. Close to all major attractions in Western North Carolina. 

Make us your home base and tour the mountains. McDowell County offers a host of attractions such as; Little Switzerland, Linville Caverns, Lake James State Park, Mountain Gateway Museum and Mount Mitchell State Park the highest peak east of the Mississippi. We are only a short distance to Grandfather Mountain, Biltmore House, Chimney Rock . Cherokee Indian Reservations, whitewater rafting and local ski resorts. Stay a day, week or month. Rates are $24-$30 RV camping, $18-$22 Electric & Water Tent, $16-$21 Primitive Tenting and $40-$80 Cabins.
