Electric costs in the winter have increased to the
point that having winter rates is not an
option. With increases in electric rates
planned by Duke Energy, discounts must be
reduced, we are sorry that we must take this
action and hope you understand.
Taxes on Cabin are NC state tax rate. Bear Haven
add 5% for county occupancy tax.
Rates based on 2 adults and 2 Children
(ages 12 & under). Rates based on one
vehicle per site.
Cancellation Policy: Minimum of 72 hours’
notice prior to reservation date is required
for deposit refund (minus 10% service fee).
Additional Charges: Additional Child (12 &
under) with parent: $1 each; Additional
Adult (age 13 & over): $2 each. Additional
Cars $2 each

Reservations require a deposit of one
night's stay. Group rates available upon
request. Rates during special events will be
charged as holiday rate. Pets welcome (on
leash, and limit of 2 pets per site). All
camping fees are non-refundable. Cash, Visa
& MC accepted. Discounts - Passport America
Space available only, no reservations
accepted, $1 additional charge for AC or
Electric heat. Valid membership card MUST
BE PRESENTED and requests for discounts
must be made at time of registration and
check-in. Only one discount allowed per
stay. Discounts apply to the regular daily
rate. Discounts not available during
holidays and special events. Additional
restrictions may apply.

Additional charges for wood and ice
Wood is sold for $5 per bundle, it is much larger than the bundles you find
at grocery and gas stores.
Ice is sold for $2 per 10lb bag, this is cheaper than you will find in
town, we make it here so we pass the savings to you.
